While most of us can recognize the end product of intelligence or creativity, scientists are not certain what each one is. A number of tests have been devised, however, to try to measure these characteristics.

ReplyDelete2) I think creativity is a type of intelligence. I also think that alot more people are capable of intelligence than creativity. Like I don't think everyone is creative. But I also think it's what you yourself thinks about creativity and intelligence. Like I think I am a creative person, but Peter would probably say that I'm not. I think I am fairly intelligent, and Max would probably disagree (although look whose talking). So I think they both start in your mind but develop into completely different things.

ReplyDelete2.) Intelligence is the understandin through like textbook and creativity is the understanding that you make of it. What I mean is like intelligence knowing it the way it should be and creativity knowing it and understanding it in your own way.

Creativity is the mental processes that result in original workable ideas. I think the main difference between intelligence and creativity is that if you are intelligent you can understand and apply a concept while if you are creative you have the ability to creat a concept in and of itself. I also think that while they aren't the same thing they walk hand in hand as most times creativity is fueled by intelligence because it doesn't really make sense for someone to create a concept if they didn't have the intelligence to understand it in the first place.

One night i snuck out (not intelligent) and got caught. But, in order to get some sympathy to less the grounding, i said i was shocked by the car battery because the car wouldn't start and i checked the battery (creativity). though it wasn't believable, it was creative and yet had intelligence hahaha.

In experiences related to intelligence, moving from the oconto school to callaway. i had to adapt to the different atmosphere and mentality by using inherited and learned experiences.
In creativity related material, being art is all about creativity in boththe mental and physical sense. In art you create workable ideas and then act upon them.

Creativity is mental processes that result in original, workable ideas. The IQ test is the Intelligence Quotient test and it helps to test people's intellgence and the way they think. However, the IQ test cannot measure someone's creativity. So you could say the difference between the two is that you can measure someone's intelligence but you cannot measure someone's creativity.

Having creativity is an intelligence other than a main intelligence such as language and math and so on. Creativity is a skill and therefore coincides with intelligence but intelligence refers to a more broad subject including the less broad term of creativity.
The two test that you caould are Stanford- binet or the wechesler test.

I would say that the difference of the two is intelligence is knowing a lot of information to help you adapt to your environment and make your life easier. Creativity is the ability to think outside the box and expand on ideas in different ways that no one else could have thought of. Being intelligent does necessary mean you are creative but it does help to have both.
