  2. 1.
-Paraphrase every couple paragraphs to create your own "minichapter"
    -sleep on your problems
    -take breaks
    -change subjects often
-at the end, tie it all together
    2. When I study, I have to take a lot of breaks and change subjects often. If I spend too much time on one subject, my brain gets frustrated and I can no longer go on without changing something.

    b. Study in intervals. Do something interactive such as eating, drinking, or talking to somebody else in between.

    d. At the end of each study, try to establish some principle that brings the material together.

2.) I like to write my own synopsis. Even though it might not be every 2 or 3 paragraphs, it is still helpful to jot down the main ideas of a chapter or something.

  4. 1.) Write a short synopsis in your own words of the chapter you are studying. Also, taking breaks will allow your brain to keep working on the problem, so it is recommended to take a short ten minute break every 30 minutes or so.
2.) I do find it helpful to take short breaks every once in a while to get your mind refocused. I also find taking notes helpful.

  8. 1.) Speed reading, write a synopsis, good nights sleep, good work study place, a cycle between subjects, and relate the info to something in your own life.
2.) The most effective technique for me is relating the info to something in my own life. It really helps to relate to the subject because then my brain is more interested in the info and retains it better.
Also, the good nights sleep helps a lot because I have found it nearly impossible to study while I am really tired.
