The videio is about how the brain in teenagers isnt fully developed. And how this causes them to make bad decisions and do stupid stuff.
ReplyDeleteI think that kids arent developed and thats why they do what they do. Kids should be watched and observed more carefully
THe video iis talking about how a teenager and an adult's drain works. A teenager drain has to use moe of the drain to work on a project or tasks. While the adults drain only uses one side of the drain to work on the same project or task as the teenager. and why teenagers do the things they do like bad behavior or steeling cars. I think that the test are have been taken is very right on what the outcome was like. Teenagers has to use more of their drain to think about things and sometimes not use their drain at all. While the adults use less of the drain but no what is right and wrong.

ReplyDeleteI thought the video was really good! I liked how they examined both quewn and his dad. I thought it was intersesting that the dads brain was reacting faster than the boys. It also talked about drinking and how it affects the brain. I found it really interesting because i didnt know what drinking could all do to your brain.
ReplyDelete2. The video was about how the brain "remodels" itself, remodeling the frontal lobe, in charge of impulse control last. It also asks if we should be considered adults at the age of 18.
ReplyDelete3. I thought it was weird that 25% of inmates are 18-25 years old. I thought it was neat that they are thinking about making new sections in prisons for 18-25 year olds.

Teens are impulsive. They do not think before they do. We do not consider the consquences. They talk about what age a child becomes an adult. They used to think the brain was matured by age 12. The looked at the brains impulses. When watching the video it reminded me of the class we took with Pat Smith. It was easy to relate the video and what we learned then. I think people and psychologist need to keep looking at the adolesent brain.
ReplyDeleteThe teen made more errors then his dad because of it being under developed. Teens have ipolses and do no think ratinoly. I think that it is crazy because the fact that u think that someone who is younger would react faster and have the better brain cells but no the old people do.
ReplyDeleteThe video talks about how an adolescents brain is not completely developed. They took a teen boys brain and compared it to his dads and his brain had more errors. A teen has impulses and don't always think rationally. I would have to agree with the video I feel as though i make more mistakes then my parents do but being a teen gives me the chance to learn from my mistakes.

3- i thought it was very informative and i didn't know all of that! things mess you up.
the video talked about how the human brain develops. also it talks about judgement. i think it is awesome to know interesting facts about the brain.
